Fire crews were called to a Child Street residence for a “reported audible beeping.” Turns out the caller had painted over their smoke detector.
Police came across a dog without leash or tags. They found the owner and discussed the issue.
A caller from Everett Street reported that his son’s stepfather had broken his son’s cell phone.
Tuesday, June 6
Cows were spotted wandering around Market Street at 8:21 a.m.
A boy, 16, was charged with sexting/electronically disseminating indecent material.
The arrest came after the parent of a 14-year-old girl told police the boy texted her inappropriate messages.
Three boys were arrested after police said they “boxed in” a girl at the Kickemuit Middle School in early May. Police said the girl, a 13-year-old from Bristol, had just walked out of a class when she was accused by the three boys; two of them ultimately pinned her between them near a bathroom. Charged with simple assault or battery and disorderly conduit were two boys, both 13, one from Bristol and one from Warren. Also charged with disorderly conduct was a 12-year-old boy from Warren.
Mark S. Durand, 38, of 20 Union St., Apt. 1, was charged with the false report of a crime. Police said he told them that he knowingly gave false information about his ex-girlfriend, saying in late April that she had violated a no contact order that was in effect at the time.

A Lyndon Street resident reported being harassed over the telephone; police said the call was a phone scam.

Wednesday, June 7
A boy, 14, was charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer and other town officials, and one count of disorderly conduct.
The charges come following an incident in early May, in which police were called to the boy’s home for a disturbance.
A caller from Beth Avenue reported a suspicious person walking in and out of backyards. It turned out to be a landscaper on the job.
Thursday, June 8
The animal control officer advised a family on Harris Avenue that their dog was loose.
A Main Street man reported that his wife had been threatened.
Friday, June 9
A Main Street resident complained about a neighbor’s barking dogs.
A man drove off without paying his bill at the transfer station. Police spoke to the man, who said he would return and pay.
An Arlington Avenue man told police that someone cut the electric wires from his home.
A caller from Manning Street complained that kids playing basketball in the street kept going into her flower bed.
A caller from Hope Street reported at 9:38 p.m. that a neighborhood party was getting a little bit out of hand.
A fireworks complaint came in from Metacom Avenue.
An anonymous caller complained about a couple smoking and drinking at Clark and Bay roads. It turned out to be four neighborhood kids.
Saturday, June 10
Jeffrey A. Pires, 39, of 24 Federal St., Apt. 1, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense.
Livestock were reported wandering loose on Libby Lane.
A stereo reported to have been stolen from a Union Street residence was returned to the owner.
A caller from Davis Street reported the strong odor of “some sort” of narcotic. Police found nothing amiss.
A bike was reported stolen from Warren Avenue.
A Shore Drive woman in the process of moving out of her home said she was being harassed by her landlord.
A boy, 16, was charged with possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, after a car stop on Water Street just before 4 p.m.
An employee called from a Main Street establishment to report that someone passed a fake ID. The person was gone on police arrival.
A Water Street woman complained that the upstairs neighbors were arguing.
Sunday, June 11
Ryan P. O’Connell, 36, of 24 Asselin St. was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic assault with intent to commit a felony, after his wife called to report being assaulted. the woman told police that Mr. O’Connell struck her several times with a chain and attempted to come at her with a pipe wrench. She was able to escape when he slipped and fell as he ran toward her.
Barrington rescue crews transported a person to Rhode Island Hospital after Warren police received a call from Market Street about an intoxicated person not feeling well.
Mynor Ramos Hernandez, 33, of Central Falls, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving without or on an expired license, second offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled him over on Market Street at 8:49 p.m.

A caller from Child Street reported the smell of marijuana coming from the first floor porch.
