Warren police: Woman arrested twice in two days

Monday, June 26

A Baker Street resident reported computer fraud. Police determined there was no fraud; the caller’s computer had a virus.

A Union Street woman asked that police remove a man from her home.

A caller from Croade Street told police that a neighbor was laying on the floor, unconscious. The fire chief corrected that; the man was conscious, he noted.

Samantha M. Stanzione, 26, of Barrington, was arrested on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant.

A West Street woman reported receiving continual texts and calls from a man.

A loud music call came in from Water Street just before 9:30 p.m.

Tuesday, June 27

A Child Street resident reported that her upstairs neighbors were constantly smoking marijuana in the building’s basement. Police checked it out and noted a strong smell of marijuana there.

Items were reported stolen from a car parked on Lyndon Street.

A Davis Street woman called police with concerns about the way a neighbor spoke to her.

Benjamin Butterworth, 34, of 614 Child St., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, refusal to submit to a chemical test and failing to stop after an accident, after he allegedly left the scene of an accident on Child Street. Police pulled him over at 10:12 p.m.

A caller from Metacom Avenue reported a possible break-in in progress — he reported that a black van was parked alongside a store and people were taking items out. It turned out to be a cleaning crew.

Wednesday, June 28

A loud music call came in from Long Lane.

Thursday, June 29

Lindsay M. Leite, 34, of Dighton, Mass., was arrested on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant.

A rooster crowing angered a Seymour Street resident, who called the police at 7:13 a.m.

Aaron M. Francis, 30, of 510 Child St., Apt. 402B, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Sixth Division District Court in Providence.

Someone spray-painted an obscene image in the middle of Kickemuit Road, but DPW crews responded and removed it.

A Canario Drive man told police that someone broke into his home. Containers were overturned and items were missing, he said.

A Campbell Street resident told police that someone entered the home and stole electronics.

A woman from Metacom Avenue reported receiving harassing calls from a person unknown to her.

A fireworks call came in from the vicinity of Jamiel’s Park.

Friday, June 30

John L. Burke III, 52, of 21 Highview Ave., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and refusing to submit to a chemical test, after he was involved in an accident on Reservoir Avenue at about midnight.

Someone complained about a barking dog on Main Street.

A Market Street man reported being harassed by a neighbor.

Mail was reported stolen from a mailbox on Bridge Street.

A Manning Street man complained that kids playing ball hit his car.

A caller told police that a white horse was running loose on Birch Swamp Road.

Saturday, July 1

A caller complained about a woman talking loudly on her phone on Baker Street.

Alysia E. Guild, 25, of 460 Water St., was charged with domestic simple assault/battery, domestic disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct, after police were called to Water Street at 3:16 p.m. for a fight.

A Child Street caller complained that someone was lighting fireworks behind the Kickemuit Middle School.

A Warren Avenue resident complained about a loud party next door.

Sunday, July 2

Alysia E. Guild, 25, of 460 Water St., was charged with violating a no contact order.

Multiple fireworks complaints came in from across town.

Monday, July 3

A Kinnicutt Avenue resident reported receiving a harassing call from a former roommate.
