Sacred Heart hands Westport home soccer loss

Adam Charest scored Westport’s lone goal on Wednesday as Sacred Heart edged the Wildcats 2-1 on Westport’s home field. Dawson VosVais assisted on the goal.

The Westport game came on a corner kick by Charest who was also credited with playing a strong defensive game.

Westport fel to 3-6-3 with the Mayflower Athletic Conference loss and at that point had six games left to play — only one at home (on Monday, Oct. 17.
