Clinton D. Boulds, 65, Westport

Clinton D. Boulds, 65, of Wesley, Maine, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was the son of the late William H. and Maisie E. (Deamon) Boulds.

Prior to moving to Maine, Clint had been a longtime resident of Westport where he worked for the Highway Department for many years.

He is survived by his two boys, Franklin D. Rego III and his wife Jessica of Westport, and Joshua P. Rego and his wife Brynne of Westport; his four grandchildren, Connor, Nickolas, Hunter and Gunner; his aunt, Mary Haggett of New Hampshire; cousins Henry Deamon of NH, Robin Ryder of NH, Dixanne Chua of NH, Helyn Ray of NH, Heidi Maratino of NH, Tammy Williams of Massachusetts and Ernest Boulds, Jr. of Massachusetts, and several second and third cousins in New Hampshire, New York and Massachusetts.

A celebration of life, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be on Friday September 14, at the Westport Holy Ghost Club, 171 Sodom Rd., Westport, at 5 p.m..

A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
