A Westport man faces child pornography possession charges after police allegedly discovered pornographic images on his computer.

Richard Vohnoutka Sr., no age given, of 793 Gifford Road, was charged Wednesday, Nov. 2. Police said he had his computer serviced by Best Buy'S Geek Squad last month. During the service, a technician discovered a book mark that possibly contained child porn, police said. Detectives seized the computer and were later granted a search warrant to examine the computer. Hundreds of images "that are designated as child sexual abuse material" were located, police said.

Detectives were granted an arrest warrant and an additional search warrant for his residence. As a result of the search, detectives located additional images of child pornography as well as four unsecured firearms.

Vohnoutka was arraigned in Fall River District Court. The investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending.
