Teens stopped at former Zion Bible College property

Posted

Barrington police responded to the former Zion Bible College property on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11:44 a.m. after teens were spotted trespassing.

A security guard stationed at the vacant property saw the male teenagers fleeing from one of the buildings. The teenagers — all five were from Westport, Mass. — got into a car and tried to leave the property but were stopped.

Police questioned the teenagers; one said he had lost his wallet at the property during a prior visit and was trying to find it.

Police also noticed the smell of marijuana coming inside the vehicle. Officers later released the teenagers to their parents.
