Police still searching for third teenage suspect

Barrington Police responded to the Primrose Hill School property at about 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13 for a report of juveniles fighting there.

A woman called police after witnessing the fight — she said two of the boys took off on foot and another boy left on his bicycle. The victim, a 13-year-old boy from Riverside, was still at the school yard.

Police said the victim had a cut on the bridge of his nose, and blood on his hands and jacket. Police called EMTs to treat his injuries.

Officers were also able to track down two of the suspects, and a day later police charged two 13-year-old Barrington boys, each with each with simple assault or battery and disorderly conduct-fighting or brawling, tumultuous behavior.

Police are still looking for the third suspect. The cases will be sent to the town’s juvenile hearing board.
