Barrington resident and nationally recognized oncologist, Dr. Stephanie Graff, is once again making waves in the community with her involvement in the second annual Paddle for Progress RI.
Set to take place on Sept. 22 in Wickford Harbor, the event aims to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research, with the Lifespan breast cancer care team supporting the cause.
Having moved to Barrington in 2021 to assume the role of Director of Breast Oncology at the Lifespan Cancer Institute, Dr. Graff has quickly become an integral part of both the local and national fight against breast cancer.
Her work at the Lifespan Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Center reflects her commitment to providing comprehensive, personalized care to patients. The center’s unified, team-based approach brings together experts from various specialties, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care in a supportive environment.
In addition to her work at Lifespan, Dr. Graff is an active participant in community events, using her platform to advance breast cancer research and support.
This year’s Paddle for Progress RI will be particularly meaningful for her, as she joins patients, colleagues, and the broader Rhode Island community in turning Wickford Harbor pink for the cause.
Dr. Graff’s is no stranger to kayaking. She often paddles around Annawamscutt Beach in Barrington.
