Barrington’s Asher Robbins captured second place in the Championship Division Hammer Throw at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals at the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday. Asher's throw was his personal best performance.

Also competing in the Championship Hammer Throw were Barrington’s Liam Capozza, who placed seventh overall, Michael Fay, who finished 12th, and Sean Fearon, who was 25th.

Barrington High School Sophomore Brett White placed first in the Rising Stars Division of the Hammer Throw at the same meet, with an impressive season's best.

Brandon Piedade also competed at the New Balance Nationals at Franklin Field at UPenn, placing 26th in the 2-Mile Rising Stars race.

Nate Greenberg travelled to the Nike Outdoor Nationals at Haywood Field at the University of Oregon, where he competed in the 100 meter dash, placing 22nd in the Emerging Elite Division.

On the girls side at the New Balance Nationals, Barrington’s Lily Cregan competed in the Championship Hammer Throw and Emma Marvelli competed in the Rising Stars Division.
