School advisory committees

A few years ago, the Barrington School Committee created a set of advisory committees to help provide community, faculty and student input into the district-wide work around Health and Wellness, Social Emotional Learning, Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity, Facilities, and Policy work. SEAC, the Special Education Advisory Committee, also provides guidance to the District and the School Committee, but under separate by-laws and membership. Anyone interested in supporting the work of the district and would like to apply their expertise and input in any of these areas, please consider applying at . We also ask that any current members also resubmit an application, indicating that they are a returning member, in order for us to be in compliance with the Advisory Committee policy and to ensure a diverse and representative membership. For more information or to apply, call the administration office at 245-5000 or visit barringtonschools.org
