Hi, my name is John Alessandro, and I am running for re-election to the Committee on Appropriations. For over 10 years, I have served Barrington on various boards and committees, so the chances are you have seen my name before and know that I am committed to helping our wonderful town.  I believe in public service and I love to give back to the community that has given my family and me so much. I have been elected to the school committee and committee on appropriations. I have been a part of the assessment board of review; I helped make the new middle school and full day kindergarten a reality in Barrington. I have been the chairperson on the budget forecasting committee. I have been directly involved in the town budget process for the last 8 years and understand the budgets for both the town and our schools. Consistency is key to a good budget process and I bring both knowledge and consistency to the COA.  Please re-elect me to the Committee on Appropriations for another 2-year term.

Respectfully,

John Alessandro
