Lt. Col. (Ret) Bradford R. Bock, Barrington

Lt. Col. (Ret) Bradford R. Bock passed away at home in Spokane, Washington on Dec. 19, 2021, surrounded by his family. Brad was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and his mother, Betty.

He is survived by his wife, Kyong, and his sons, Paul and Peter, and his sisters, Barbara and Elaine, and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Braydon and Nadia.

Brad grew up in Barrington, R.I. He graduated from Barrington High School in 1971, he then attended Norwich Military college and graduated University of New Hampshire’s ROTC in 1975.

After graduation Brad joined the United States Army as a First Lieutenant.  Brad served in the tank corps in Ft. Hood, Texas before becoming a Blackhawk helicopter pilot. Brad retained the rank of Lt. Col. at his retirement from the Army. After his retirement, Brad worked as a civilian contractor for the Army until he retired again in 2020.

A military service will be held for family at a future date.
