The Bristol Historical & Preservation Society, the Battle of Rhode Island Association, and the Bristol 250 Commission have joined forces to sponsor a weekend of events celebrating the 250th anniversary of two Revolutionary-era incidents that occurred in Bristol, known collectively as the Bristol Raids. It’s a weekend of re-enactments and festivities.
WHAT: A weekend of events to celebrate the RI 250
WHEN: Friday to Sunday, May 16 to 18
WHERE: Downtown Bristol
COST: Most events are free and open to the public. There is a cost for some of the events.
