Barrington Police have located the 74-year-old Barrington man who was reported missing earlier this week.

Police said Michael Dalessio was found in West Palm Beach, Fla., and he is doing fine.

Barrington Police Chief Dino DeCrescenzo said Mr. Dalessio traveled to Florida by train, and law enforcement in West Palm Beach are in contact with him.

The sister of Mr. Dalessio told Barrington police her brother had last been seen on Monday morning. Police issued a notice on Tuesday, and shortly thereafter received a phone call from a hotel in Providence — an employee at the hotel recognized Mr. Dalessio from a news report on television. The employee said the man appeared to be fine.

Police said Mr. Dalessio checked out of the Providence hotel on Tuesday and then took a train to Florida.
