Albert A. Capuano, Jr., age 68, of Bristol, passed away at home on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. He was the husband of the late Karen J. (Milano) Capuano.

Albert worked as a boat mechanic for over 30 years. He was a longtime member of the Guards of Thunder and the BTA.

He is survived by two children, Meghan Capuano of Providence and Steven Capuano and his partner Mary Lemelin of Bristol as well as three grandchildren, Karen M. Capuano and Elijah and Phillip Whitfield.

His Burial at sea will be private for the immediate family. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St, Warren. Relatives and friends are invited. For online tributes and directions, please visit: www.wilbur-romano.com

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
