There is no age limit to the fun that can be had by blowing bubbles outside on a warm, sunny day. Buying them is an option, but making them at home with simple ingredients that are already in stock is even better. This way, the recipe can be tailored to be non-toxic, making it safer for the environment (though it still shouldn’t be used near ponds, lakes and other waterways). This recipe is inexpensive, fun, and eco-friendly.
Materials
1 mason jar with a lid
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup hot water
1 cup room temperature water
1/2 cup unscented Castile soap
Directions
Pour the hot water into the mason jar.
Stir the sugar into the hot water until it dissolves.
Add the room temperature water and Castile soap, then stir again.
Grab some bubble wands, head outside, and blow bubbles everywhere (except near waterways)!
