Here it is, folks, your July 4th Concert Series lineup, the annual effort by the 4th of July Committee to make everyone (and their varied musical tastes) happy — and judging by the feedback to date, they have done a pretty good job.
In addition to great music, a variety of food trucks will be on hand during the series, offering great food for those looking to enjoy dinner or snacks alfresco while listening to the performances.
“The biggest challenge is always how to decide which bands to feature,” said Patti Nenna, who chairs the concert committee. “We want a balance of styles, we want local talent represented, but we had 144 musical acts apply which made it really hard. It’s a group effort, and everyone put a lot of time and work into the process.”
The lineup is as follows; band descriptions and start times will soon be listed on the Committee’s website, as well as published in the Official Souvenir Booklet prior to the series.
