For the first time in over 20 years, fifth-grade band is returning to the Bristol Warren Regional School District. Starting in September, fifth-graders at all of the district elementary schools will have the opportunity to learn flute, clarinet, trumpet or trombone.
In preparation for this, they are holding an instrument donation drive for these instruments. They must be in good working condition. Instruments can be dropped off at Mt. Hope High School on Saturday, Aug. 31, from 9 to 11 a.m.
