Letter: Bristol DPW policy prevents recycling
To the editor:
I own a house in Bristol but am a Florida resident, and Director of Public Works Director Christopher Parella will not allow me to bring wood, plastic, metal and electronics over to the Bristol Resource Recovery facility even though I am willing to pay a fee.
I am not seeking permission to bring trash that goes to the Central Landfill. As an environmentalist, I don’t understand why Director Parella won’t let me pay a fee to bring my recyclables to the town’s recycling facility.
