Maria deFatima (Santos) Bigham, 89, of Gibson Road, Bristol, passed away on April 12, 2021, at Newport Hospital.   

Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, she was daughter of the late Artur and Maria deMercedes (Toste) Santos. She is survived by her children, Linda Viera and her husband John of Bristol; Darrel Bigham and his wife Loretta of North Carolina; grandchildren: Joshua Viera, Lee Viera, Jason Bigham and Shelby Bigham; and great-grandchildren: Ivy Viera and Lucy Viera. She was the mother of the late Wanda Coite and Rachel O’Gara.

Ms. Bigham was educated in Portugal and the owner of Reflections Beauty Salon in Barrington for 27 years before retiring.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Warren.
