The annual Bristol Firemen’s Memorial, held the second Sunday in June, once again honored our own firefighters and emergency medical personnel who have passed away, including those who have served over the years. A memorial service was held at St. Mary’s Church, then the department processed through downtown to the Firefighter's Memorial Park on Thames Street. Each station laid a wreath at the memorial, and the names of those lost in the previous year were read.
