This is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to keep kids entertained in late spring and early summer when it’s too cold for water activities, but too nice not to go outside. One plus is this activity can be edible, if needed!
Materials
Non-toxic shaving cream (or use Cool Whip for kids who might try to eat it)
Mixing bowls
Paint brushes
A mirror or two or three (shatter proof preferred)
Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
1. Set up everything in a safe area, preferably on grass.
2. Spray the shaving cream (or scoop the Cool Whip) into the bowls.
3. Mix in a different color of food coloring to each bowl, if using.
4. Have fun painting clouds onto the mirrors (and enjoy eating them if the shaving cream is swapped for Cool Whip)!
