Letter: Do not use my taxes to further the abortion agenda

To the editor:

Last week I was pleased to read Jean Ernster's letter citing the evils of abortion and our dismal legislative record on it in RI. Good for her for having the courage to speak out!

This week I was pleased to read the letter from Jack and Rita Parquette, "Let abortion supporters raise their own funds." Good for them. Theirs is a point that should be emphasized: Choose life or fund abortion privately.

I am pro-life and I am one of many taxpayers who do not want our taxes used to further the abortion agenda.

Sincerely,

Phyllis Keenan
