Letter: The Big Steal is nothing more than the Big Lie

To the editor:

“It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you do know that just ain’t so.”  The above quote has been ascribed to several noted pundits, such as  Mark Twain and Will Rogers.  It pretty well sums up the Big Lie by Mr. Trump and his minions, about the Big Steal.

This entire allegation is based on one fanciful notion; that the remote possibility something might have happened, is the only proof we should need that it did happen.

Its only actual source is the baseless assertion by a textbook pathological liar, who is the one person that stands to benefit from acceptance of these spurious claims.

Judge Stephanos Bibas of the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals at Philadelphia, in one of the many rebukes to Mr. Trump’s lawsuits put it very simply.

“…calling an election unfair does not make it so”.
