A Massachusetts man was charged after a caller reported a black SUV driving on the beach with open containers of alcohol just after 3 p.m. Peter J. Fielding, 20, of 100 Pheasant Lane, Bridgewater, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
A caller complained that a family was cutting trees with a handsaw and had made a fire. Police spoke with them and said they would extinguish the fire.
