At 9:10 am, a parent called police to request assistance in dealing with a child who is refusing to go to school.

Police were called at 9:25 am regarding a neighbor dispute (no crime committed) on Pennsylvania Road.

A West Main Road resident contacted police at 2:09 pm about the larceny of a chainsaw from the garage.

A motorist came to the station at 7:06 pm to report a vehicle vs. deer accident on Colebrook Road.

Saturday, March 27

Police were called at 7:14 pm by a Wordell Lane resident who said that his/her daughter had heard thumping noises in the trunk of a parked vehicle. Police reported “no issue.”

After a 10:56 pm motor vehicle stop on Long Highway at Amesbury Lane, police arrested Dallas A. Wynegar, 26, of 88 Ormerod Ave., Portsmouth, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol (second offense), refusal to submit to a chemical test (second violation within five years), and driving with a suspended license (second offense).
