Portsmouth loses to La Salle in boys’ lacrosse, 19-7

The Portsmouth High School boys’ varsity lacrosse team dropped a game to La Salle Academy on Thursday, April 7, by a score of 19-7.

The Patriots’ Tony Marcucci scored two goals and assisted on two more. Portsmouth had a lead in the second quarter, but could not hold on.

The Patriots will host Cumberland High School in a non-league game at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 15, and then Moses Brown at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19.

The team will travel to North Kingstown for a 6:30 p.m. match on Friday, April 22, before returning home to face Mt. Hope in a non-league lane at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27.
