Tiverton police charge two with drugs following car stop

Monday, Jan. 30

A resident from Hayden Avenue reported an assault at 10:52 a.m.

A resident from Chace Avenue reported harassment/threats at 2:29 p.m.

A 911 caller from Main Road reported an erratic driver at 6:18 p.m. Officers notified Portsmouth Police as the driver traveled out of their jurisdiction.

A 911 caller from the upper level parking garage on Tiverton Casino Boulevard reported an accident at 11:46 p.m. No injuries were reported and the patient refused medical treatment.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

A caller from Bulgarmarsh Road reported harassment/threats at 7:30 p.m.

A 911 caller from the Dadson Mobile Homeowners Association on Bulgarmarsh Road asked for police to keep the peace at 8:07 p.m.

A resident from Judson Street reported harassment/threats at 11:03 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

Felipe M. Lemos, 27, of 71 Dover St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with possession of marijuana– more than one ounce (first offense) after police pulled him over near the Fall River border at 1:59 a.m. A passenger, Mateus M. Silva, 25, of 31 Newport St., Fall River, was also charged on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court.

Two juveniles were arrested after police received a call from Tiverton High School on North Brayton Road for a report of trespassing at 8:13 a.m. A 15-year-old was charged with disturbance of public assembly and misdemeanor conspiracy, and a 16-year-old was charged with disturbance of public assembly, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, and two counts of disorderly conduct.

A caller from Hooper Street reported harassment/threats at 10 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 2

A 911 caller from Windwood Drive reported an unwanted person at their home at 5:46 a.m.

Junya Cambra, 76, of 91 State Ave., was charged with simple assault and/or battery after police were called to her address for a disturbance at 7:43 a.m.

A caller from Hudson Street reported harassment/threats at 12:35 p.m.

A caller from Kaufman Road reported a missing person at 2:44 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 3

Rhianna K. Gardner, 39, of 50 Hartford Ave., Scituate, was charged with eluding a law enforcement vehicle in a high speed pursuit (first offense), reckless driving/drag racing/eluding police (first offense), obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, and on an affidavit and arrest warrant at 1:39 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 4

A caller from Walnut Street reported an accident at 12:47 p.m. No injuries were reported.

A 911 caller from John Duggan Road reported a domestic incident at 3:18 p.m.

A caller from Stafford Road reported a suspicious person at 4:47 p.m.

A caller from Tiverton Casino Hotel on Tiverton Casino Boulevard reported an unwanted person on the premises at 8:21 p.m.

A caller from the VFW post on Shove Street reported an assault at 8:31 p.m.

A caller from Tiverton Casino Hotel on Tiverton Casino Boulevard reported larceny at 10:30 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 5

A walk-in from Little Compton reported an accident at 6:34 a.m. No injuries were reported.

A caller from Forand Lane reported an accident at 7:49 a.m. No injuries were reported.

A resident from Bulgarmarsh Road reported harassment/threats at 9:26 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 6

Wilfredo Cuba, 47, of 523 Cottage St., Apt. 3, New Bedford, was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance (10 grams or less) after police pulled him over on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 3:34 a.m. A passenger, Raquel M. Carvalho, 41, of 850 Robeson St., Fall River, was also charged with possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance (10 grams or less).

A caller from Tiverton High School reported harassment/threats at 7:24 a.m.

A caller from Main Road reported fraud at 8:17 a.m.

A resident from John Duggan Road reported a weapons violation at 11:55 a.m.
