Tiverton police: Woman cited for illegal dumping

Monday, Nov. 20

A caller from Main Road reported larceny at 9:20 a.m.

A caller reported suspicious activity at a Hilton Street home at 11:15 a.m.

A neighbor dispute on Fay Street was reported at 3:11 p.m.

A Stafford Road resident complained of harassment/threats at 5:32 p.m.

Barbara Medeiros, 55, of 20 Grove St., Apt. 1, Fall River, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC unknown, after a caller asked police to check the condition of a driver on Main Road at 6:35 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 21

A noise complaint on Eagleville Road came in at 12:17 a.m.

Police investigated a scam at a home on Terry Lane at 2:33 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 22

A caller reported a suspicious person on Main Road at 2:12 a.m.

Police investigated a report of larceny on Windwood Drive at 10:18 a.m.

A resident reported vandalism on Leger Lane at 1:02 p.m.

Police investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle on Birch Street at 2:29 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 23

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Hurst Lane at 12:04 p.m.

Police investigated an accident on Crandall Road at 1:13 p.m.

A caller reported an intoxicated person on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 11:18 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 24

Police were called to a domestic incident on Hurst Lane at 12:30 a.m.

Tricia J. Raposa, 52, of 4980 N. Main St., Apt. 413, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC unknown, following a traffic stop on Stafford Road at 1:20 a.m.

Kevin D. Botelho, 50, of 128 Broad St., second floor, Fall River, was charged with domestic simple assault and/or battery and domestic disorderly conduct after a traffic stop on Hurst Lane at 1:26 a.m.

A caller reported a disturbance at Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 1:49 a.m.

Police investigated a larceny complaint on Mill Street at 10:08 a.m.

Amber L. Silva, 25, of 29 Canonicus St., was charged with simple assault and/or battery, domestic vandalism, and domestic disorderly conduct, after a caller reported a domestic incident at 12:37 p.m.

Police investigated a report of an intoxicated person on Main Road at 3:43 p.m.

A caller from Shove Street requested an officer at 10:25 p.m.

An Island View Drive resident reported vandalism at 11:13 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 25

An erratic driver was reported on Old Stafford Road at 1:13 a.m.

Launey King, 56, of 382 Souza Road, was issued a summons for littering after police responded to a report of a person dumping trash on Main Road at 9:02 a.m.

A caller reported suspicious activity on Fay Street at 4:03 p.m.

Police investigated a report of a weapons violation at East Demello Drive at 10:10 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 26

Justin M. Vieira, 34, of 13 Grape St., New Bedford, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC unknown, following a report of a suspicious vehicle on Bulgarmarsh Road at 4:11 a.m.

A caller reported a disturbance on East Road at 11:46 a.m.

A suspicious person was reported on Bulgarmarsh Road at 2:45 p.m.

Police investigated a report of a stolen car on Bulgarmarsh Road at 4:28 p.m.

Police were called to a disturbance on Stafford Road at 9:47 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 27

A caller reported property damage on Adam Street at 10:39 a.m.

Trespassing was reported on Main Road at 11:27 a.m.

Police investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle on State Avenue, near Carpenter Street, at 3:55 p.m.

Police investigated a report of fraud on South Court at 6:34 p.m.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Stafford Road at 8:37 p.m.

Ender I. Orellana Coreas, 24, of 153 4th Street, Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC .15 or greater, following a traffic stop at 11:13 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 28

A caller reported an erratic driver on Route 24 south at 2:53 p.m.

A Canonicus Street caller reported the violation of a restraining order at 3:45 p.m.

Suspicious activity was reported on Stafford Road at 4:54 p.m.

Manuel Cardoso, 47, 228 Dartmouth St., Apt. 2, New Bedford, was charged with domestic criminal violation of a no-contact order, domestic disorderly conduct, and domestic vandalism following a call from the East Providence Police Department in connection with a Third Division District Court bench warrant at 6:15 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 29

A Bulgarmarsh Road resident reported a stolen vehicle at 11:18 a.m.

Vandalism was reported on Lake Road at 11:41 a.m.

A Chester Street caller reported the violation of a restraining order at 3:50 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 30

A caller from Massey Road complained of noise at 3:50 a.m.

Property damage was reported on East Road at 1:20 p.m.

Police investigated a report of fraud on Lewis Street at 4:26 p.m.

Following a report of larceny on Stafford Road at 9:04 p.m., the following individuals were charged: Christopher W. Buckley, 24, of 825 Bulgarmarsh Road, shoplifting, obstructing an officer in the line of duty, and disorderly conduct; and Dylan M. Ferreira, 24, of 56 Wood Ave., shoplifting and obstructing an officer in the line of duty.

Friday, Dec. 1

Police investigated reports of suspicious vehicles on Main Road at 1:15 a.m. and on Shove Street at 1:36 a.m.

Trespassing was reported on Randolph Avenue at 8:20 a.m.

Police were asked to keep the peace after a caller reported an incident at Stafford Road at 9:50 a.m.

A resident complained of harassment/threats on Crandall Road at 11:28 a.m.

Police investigated reports of fraud on Cypress Avenue at 1:21 p.m. and on Stafford Road at 2:34 p.m.

Police investigated a report of larceny at Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 10:31 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 2

Police investigated an accident involving a pedestrian on Canonicus Street at 10:15 a.m.

An erratic driver was reported on Bulgarmarsh Road at 10:34 a.m.

Police investigated a hunting complaint on Cottrell Road at 11:09 a.m.

Ambiorix Ogando Mota, 35, of 1015 Iago Ave., Capital Heights, Md., was charged with the manufacture/delivery/possession with intent to sell of a controlled substance, after a traffic stop on Canonicus Street at 2:32 p.m.

Police investigated a dirt bike/ATV complaint on Judson Street, near Church Street, at 3:04 p.m.

A resident complained of harassment/threats on Canonicus Street at 3:52 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 3

After police investigated a complaint at the Tiverton Casino Hotel at 1:18 a.m., the following individuals were charged: Barbara L. Quintero, 49, 12 Laura Lane, Bourne, Ma., two counts of possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance, 10 grams or less; and Jeffrey Louis, 42, 1572 N. Main St., Apt. 2, Fall River, two counts of intent to manufacture/deliver/possess a schedule I to V controlled substance, and two counts of possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance, 10 grams or less.

Police were called to a Hooper Street home following a complaint of an unwanted person at noon. 

Suspicious activity on South Avenue was reported at 3:39 p.m.

Police were called to check the condition of a driver on Stafford Road at 5:51 p.m.

A Coral Lane resident complained of noise at 8:18 p.m.

A caller reported an intoxicated person at Bulgarmarsh Road in the vicinity of Brayton Road at 11:39 p.m.
