Portsmouth: Police deal with DUIs, alleged scam

PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent highlights from the Portsmouth Police report:

Tuesday, May 23

Fangzhou Qian, 29, of 46 Bowdoin St., Worcester, Mass., was charged with attempted larceny (under $1,500) after police responded to an East Main Road home around 5:10 p.m. after receiving a report of a possible ongoing scam.

Friday, May 26

Sea Patrick Reilly, 26, of 35 Maggie Lane, was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), first offense, after his Lexus hit a utility pole in the area of West Main and Bristol Ferry roads shortly after 5 p.m., police said. Reilly was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test, according to police.

Saturday, May 27

Jose Angel Arroyo, 59, of 13 Fourth St., was charged with domestic disorderly conduct after police responded to his home around 12:15 p.m. to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. While on the scene, officers observed Arroyo to be “acting recklessly,” according to police. The victim was a 60-year-old woman from Portsmouth, police said.

Tuesday, May 30

Theresa A. Rheaume, 35, of 28 Willow Court, was charged with DUI, first offense, after being pulled over on West Main Road for speeding and failing to maintain the lane around 1:25 a.m.  She was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test, police said.
