Barrington Little League’s 9/10U Minors All Star baseball team opened up its campaign in the Ron Silva Tournament with a 13-2 win over Bristol/Warren National All Stars at Sherwood Field on Thursday night, June 26.

Simon Kim led Barrington on the mound, with a four-inning complete game victory. Kim gave up two runs, two hits and walked one batter on his way to the win.

Hudson Lang, Grant Garneau, and Terry Nickell each hit doubles for Barrington. Ten different players scored at least one run for the Barrington All Stars.

Reid Raia caught the full game and contained Bristol-Warren National’s running game, forcing Bristol-Warren to leave runners stranded on third base in multiple innings.

Barrington plays again on Saturday against Bristol/Warren American in Bristol at 6 p.m.
