The Eagles scored 237 points, and finished behind first place Hendricken (268), South County Co-op (260), and North Kingstown (243).

Barrington Coach Sandy Gorham said the boys state meet was extremely competitive.

“This was the most dynamic boys meet I’ve ever seen,” Gorham said. “The meet was so fast.”

The Eagles coach said his team swam very hard throughout the meet.

Keith Hartman finished second in the 500-yard freestyle and was third in the 200-yard freestyle.

Roc Falaguerra scored points for Barrington, finishing fourth in 100-yard breaststroke and 10th in the 200-yard IM.

Barrington’s relay teams performed well. Ben McClelland, Benjamin Choi-Schattle, Hartman and Duru paced Barrington to a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, while Falaguerra, Choi-Schattle, Hartman and Duru finished fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
