The Barrington High School girls track team powered to victory at the Eastern Division Championship held at Victory Field on Sunday, May 18.
The Eagles scored 273.5 points, more than twice as many points as second place East Providence. Barrington High School student-athletes won 10 events, had seven second-place finishes, and seven third-place finishes. The Eagles scored points in every event.
The team of Ella Reagan, Evelyn Lefort, Ginevera Girardello and Caroline Reznik won the 4x800-meter relay event, while Kate Pearse, Charlotte Farrell, Emma Pearse and Indie Lamb won the 4x800-meter relay.
Kitty Wang had a strong day — the Barrington High School student-athlete won two events: the shot put and the discus.
Maddie Varone won the javelin, while Kate Pearse had a new personal best and won the 400-meter race.
Farrell dominated the rest of the field in the 300-meter hurdles and won the event, clocking a new personal best.
Ellie Noonan won the pole vault event, and Natalie Antonio won the hammer throw. Ivy Di Lorenzo won the triple jump event.
