Barrington High School senior Will DiGiacomo was recently selected to the Golden Dozen, an honor bestowed on the top-12 high school football players in the state by the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
Since 1988, the chapter has honored the “Golden Dozen" scholar-athletes at its annual banquet who collectively receive $9,000 in scholarships each year. The dinner also honors a select few who have significantly impacted the local football community, from coaches and politicians to business leaders and philanthropists.
DiGiacomo was standout member of the Barrington High School football team. He is also on the BHS track team. He will be attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
