The Barrington High School girls tennis team improved to 8-0 after defeating North Kingstown 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 25.
The Eagles won all three doubles matches. Addy Friedman and Jasmine Malik won 6-3, 6-2 in the number one doubles match; Carla Chen and Jillian Frechette won 6-4, 7-6 in the number two doubles match; and Mira Scheiner and Ella Schweier won 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at number three doubles.
Ava Koczera-Kasem won 6-4, 6-2 at number one singles and Charlotte Byon won in three sets, 6-2, 6-7, 7-6, at number four doubles. Sadie Spector and Anna Pani lost their singles matches.
Barrington will play against Cumberland on Monday, Sept. 30.
The Eagles stand atop Division I standings, followed by LaSalle and Narragansett.
