Barrington offering tips on how residents can protect their property

'Staying Dry in Barrington' planned for Jan. 30

A special lunchtime discussion planned for Jan. 30 will share helpful tips with Barrington residents who are interested in protecting their homes and yards from flooding.

Barrington Resilience Planner Karlo Berger will lead the lunchtime discussion, titled “Staying Dry in Barrington” on Jan. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Peck Center for Adult Enrichment.

The lunchtime discussion will also offer insight on how residents can learn more about their flood risks. Lunch will be provided free of charge.

(The Jan. 30 discussion is the second of two; the first was held on Jan. 14.)
