Barrington Police: Resident blames neighbor for dead mouse in the pool

Police cite ongoing neighbor dispute

Posted

An Upland Way resident in Barrington called police on Tuesday, June 10, after finding a dead mouse in her swimming pool.

The resident told police she suspected a neighbor had thrown the dead mouse into the pool — police said there has been an ongoing dispute between the neighbors, which also involved trees and property lines.

Police spoke with the people next door, and they denied the accusation. Police said there is no video footage of the dead mouse being thrown in the pool.

No one has been charged.
