Barrington Police investigated a fight involving multiple teenage girls on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
Police said they received a 911 call about 8:20 p.m. from a Coach Murgo Lane resident who said a teenage girl had been attacked by three other teenage girls in the area.
Police said the fight stemmed from borrowed clothing — one girl wanted her Crocs back from another, but that girl would not return the shoes until the other girl returned her sweater, allegedly.
Police said adults were aware of the situation and may have witnessed the physical altercation that stemmed from the dispute.
Police said no one wanted to press charges, so no one has been charged at this point in time.
