BHS student-athletes recruiting boosters, raising money

Posted

Members of Barrington High School sports teams will be going door-to-door on Saturday morning, Sept. 25, as part of the annual Barrington Booster Day event.

The Barrington Booster Club provides crucial support to the Barrington School Department’s athletic programs, and Booster Day is a key event for the club. On Saturday, BHS student-athletes will visit homes all across town and ask residents if they would like to support the Booster Club.

Donations made during the 2019-2020 season were used to purchase championship awards and jackets for student-athletes; strength and agility training staff; video equipment and HUDL online access; tournament fees; game filming equipment and software; a storage unit for the tennis team; and training equipment for all sports.

Donations funded more than $25,000 of support for Barrington student-athletes.
