Bristol Police: Assault, reckless driving, and a DUI

Monday, Jan. 6

Police responded to an online police report regarding forgery on Wood Street at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 7

Kevin J. Brown, 51, 66 Sherry Ave., was charged with larceny of less than $1,500 on Waterman Street at 12:14 p.m.

Megan Lynn Dasilva, 39, 322 Point Ave in Warwick, was charged with simple assault and/or battery, vandalism and a superior court bench warrant on Hope Street at 8:27 p.m. The arrest was made after police investigated a call stating that a man and woman were arguing at 8:11 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

Police issued a reckless driving summons between Bay View Ave and Metacom Ave at 7:56 p.m. after a driver spun tires leaving Bay View Ave. and began passing cars on the left on Metacom Ave. northbound.

Thursday, Jan. 9

Police investigated a fraud complaint on Wood Street at 8:39 a.m.

A suspicious activities complaint was investigated after juveniles were seen pulling down branches on Gibson Road at 5:25 p.m. A police investigation found nothing.

Friday, Jan. 10

Multiple fraud complaints were made on Hope Street at 8:11 p.m. and 9:10 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 11

A dark Toyota, seen driving a high speed between Wood Street and Constitution Street at 9:46 a.m., could not be located after a search.

Sunday Jan. 12

Heather Ann Silveira, 32, 130 Barneyville Road, Swansea, was charged with a DUI of Liquor or Drugs- blood alcohol content unknown, and refusal to submit to a chemical test following a stop on Metacom Ave at 2:44 a.m.
