British Motorcars roll into Bristol this weekend

About 200 classic cars are expected at the sixth annual British Motorcars in Bristol festival at Colt State Park, taking place June 10 and 11. On Friday, June 10, as many as 100 cars will parade for 100 miles all around the East Bay and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Another car parade is set for later that day at 5:30 p.m., during which the vehicles will travel from Colt State Park, through downtown Bristol to Constitution Street, and then to Independence Park on Thames Street, where organizers will stage a free street party from 6 to 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, the motor car show opens at 10 a.m. in Colt Park.
