Do you own a convertible? Do you like parades?

Organizers of the Barrington Memorial Day Parade are looking for residents who are willing to volunteer their time and convertibles for the upcoming parade. Officials plan to transport the town’s older veterans along the parade route in convertibles.

The volunteers and convertibles will be needed from 9 to 11 a.m. on Memorial Day, May 26.

AfterProm needs help

Organizers for the Barrington High School AfterProm event are looking for volunteers to help run the event, which is planned for Friday night, May 16.

AfterProm officials sent out an email to the community on Wednesday, altering people to a major concern — “AfterProm has less than half the volunteers needed and is only two days away!”

Anyone willing to help out should email www.barringtonafterprom.org
