David Enos, 80, of Bristol

David Enos, 80, of Bristol passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. He was the son of the late Manuel and Julia (Gonsalves) Enos.

A lifelong Bristolian, he was a member of the Colt Memorial High School class of 1961.

He is survived by his siblings, his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his friends.

David was predeceased by his parents and two of his brothers.

Visiting Hours will be held at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Funeral service starting from Sansone on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol, RI.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
