The new dock destined for Walker Farm arrived in Barrington on Monday morning, Jan. 27.

Installation of the dock this spring will be one of the final phases of the Walker Farm renovation project. The work was designed to improve the coastline and make it more resilient to sea level rise.

The new, low-profile dock will be handicap accessible and also serve as a key feature for the local rowing club. It will be located toward the northern edge of the Walker Farm property.

According to previous reports, the Walker Farm renovation project cost about $750,000.
