The Barrington High School wrestling team finished third out of 16 teams and had four individual champions at the recent Kevin Curtis Invitational Wrestling Tournament in Scituate, Mass.

Hayden Genetti, Logan Medeiros, Caleb Appleyard and James Rocco each won titles. Genetti won the 106-pound weight division, Medeiros won the 113-pound weight division, Appleyard won the 144-pound weight division, and Rocco won the 150-pound weight division. All four Barrington wrestlers won their finals by pin.

In addition, Rocco was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament after pinning a returning New England qualifier from Massachusetts.

Along with the four individual champions, Barrington had five other place-finishers out of the 11 Eagle wrestlers who attended the tournament.

Aiden Mantooth finished fourth in the 126-pound weight class, and Brandon Medeiros finished fourth at 190 pounds. Connor Foley and Gianni DiGioia finished fifth in the 165-pound weight division and 175-pound weight division, respectively. And in the 157-pound weight division, Kaleo Pan finished sixth.
