Aden Memoli scored the lone goal in Barrington High School’s 1-0 win over Cranston West in a Division 1 preliminary round playoff game at Victory Field on Tuesday night, Oct. 29.

Memoli scored on a corner kick with about 20 minutes remaining in the game. Evan Memoli tallied the assist on his brother’s goal.

Liam Helfrich stopped six Cranston West shots to preserve the win for Barrington.

The victory sends the Eagles into a quarterfinal showdown against top-seeded Bishop Hendricken. The two teams will meet on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Hendricken at 4 p.m.
