The Barrington High School boys hockey team had a busy schedule over the past couple weeks.

The Eagles played three games in a Christmas tournament held at the University of New Hampshire during the holiday break, and played two games last weekend.

On Friday night, Jan. 3, the Eagles faced off against LaSalle and lost 4-1. Henry Kelsey scored Barrington’s lone goal, off an assist from Joe Carmone. Dominic Bruzzi played goalie for the Eagles and made 25 saves on 28 shots on net.

Barrington skated against Bishop Hendricken on Saturday night, Jan. 4. The Eagles dropped a 6-2 decision against the Hawks. Connor Hayes scored a power-play goal for Barrington and Dawson Wood netted the Eagles’ other goal.

Bruzzi was in net again, and made 43 saves on 49 shots.

Barrington won one game, tied one game and lost one game in the Christmas tournament at UNH. The Eagles lost 5-3 against Oyster River (NH), which was the host team and the eventual tournament winner. Barrington tied Martha’s Vineyard 2-2 and defeated Trumball (Conn.), 7-1.

Barrington’s record stands at 3-4-1.
