Ryan Rigamonti scored a career-high 37 points and led the Barrington High School boys basketball team to an 82-64 victory over North Kingstown on Tuesday night, Feb. 4.

The Eagles and Skippers were locked 38-38 at halftime, but a strong defensive effort helped visiting Barrington pull away from North Kingstown down the stretch.

The victory propelled the Eagles’ record to 14-4 overall and 12-4 in league play.

“We made a few adjustments,” wrote Barrington High School Coach Michael Raffa. “The boys prioritized defense and executed the plan really well.”

Raffa said Rigamonti continues to impress with his play. He added that “There's no one more exciting in the open court than Caleb Satisfield” who scored 14 of his 25 points in the second half.

Colin McDermott knocked down two three-pointers and finished with eight points, and Colin Appleyard added seven points. Gabe Tostes pitched in with five points, and Ryan Realejo played a strong all-around game.

Mike DeOrsey led North Kingstown with 20 points and Jake Perry added 15.

Barrington, winners of six straight games, will be back home on Thursday night, hosting Portsmouth for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
