She was the glue in friends' and family's lives

Eleanor F. Silvia of Tiverton was born July 16th, 1937 to the late George and Anne Giguere of Little Compton. She passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Eleanor Silvia, beloved wife of late Lawrence Silvia and survived by long time life partner Richard "Rabs" Medeiros. She was the beloved mother of Laurie Tavares and husband Len, Lisa Silvia, and Leah DeLisle and husband Michael. Cherished Grandmother of Nicole Whitney and husband Christopher, Kayla Trudeau and husband Andrew. Great-grandmother of Madden and Parker DeLisle, Braedyn and Harper Whitney, Hunter Trudeau and a soon to be little girl. She was survived by her siblings David, Joan, Richard, Linda and Jerry.

She loved camping at Maple Park, trips to the mountains of Maine, clam boils, 7 & 7's, and let's not forget Chinese food. Her love for family, friends, and animals was very apparent. She was an extremely extraordinary woman, who was the glue that held us all together. Anyone who had the chance to meet her would have agreed. She will be greatly missed and we will continue to love her until we meet again.

Private services to be held for family members.
