Ellen M. Couto, 77, Tiverton

Ellen M. (Liebgott) Couto, 77, of Tiverton, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Dinis Couto. 

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Lapka) and William Liebgott.  

She had worked as a patient representative at St. Anne's Hospital.  

She was the mother of the late Katherine S. Peterson, and is survived by a daughter, Susan Rosinha, along with a son, Dennis V. Couto.  She also leaves her grandchildren, John Peterson, Allison H. Couto, Melinda S. Rosinha, Dennis W. Couto and Sophie E. Peterson.  Siblings are Michael Liebgott and Christine Ryan.  She was the sister of the late William Liebgott.  

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton.  Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 9, at the funeral home at 9 am with a service at 10 am.  Burial will be private.
